On this page you can find more information about our discounted rates for NHS employees, and about the fully funded places provided by NHS England on our Transfusion Medicine and Transfusion Science courses.

Discounted Rates

If you are an NHS employee in England you may be entitled to a discounted rate which will be applied once you have logged in using your NHS email.

To access this rate either:

• Create an account using your NHS email address or
• If you have already registered log into the system with your NHS email address, the price of the course will be automatically discounted

You will then be able to enrol and pay for your course.

Transfusion Medicine Courses - Funded Places

NHSBT have a number of course places fully funded through NHS England (NHSE) for NHS England employees (must have SpR number - NTN - and/or NHS employee number) who are planning to sit their RCPath exam(s) to access for the following courses:

• Essential Transfusion Medicine
• Intermediate Transfusion Medicine
• RCPath Pre-exam Revision Course

To apply for one of these fully funded places please fill out the form on our Contact Us page before making your booking to apply for a voucher code. Free places are strictly limited, and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The NHS England funded places are in high demand so book your place upon receipt of your voucher.

Vouchers can only be used for purchasing individual courses. If you are using a voucher code to book your place on a course, please ‘check out’ to complete your order.

Transfusion Science Courses - Funded Places

NHSBT have a limited number of course places fully funded through NHS England (NHSE) for NHS England employees to access the following courses:

These places are available on the following courses:

• Practical Introduction to Transfusion Science (PITS)
• Specialist Transfusion Science Practice (STSP)
• Advanced Transfusion Masterclass (ATM)

To apply for one of these fully funded places please fill out the form on our Contact Us page before making your booking to apply for a voucher code. Free places are strictly limited, and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The NHS England funded places are in high demand so book your place upon receipt of your voucher.

Vouchers can only be used for purchasing individual courses. If you are booking a course with two parts, then both parts must be completed within the same financial year to be eligible for funding. If you are using a voucher code to book your place on a course, please ‘check out’ to complete your order.
